Why Falcon — Romania to Latin America

A regional presence is a long-term commitment.
Falcon Defence is building a long-term bridge between Romanian defence industry and Latin American markets. With Falcon Latin America in São Paulo, the group has expanded its presence into Brazil to develop market access, local relationships, institutional engagement and industry partnerships.
The Romanian Island at LAAD is part of this broader strategy, not a one-off exhibition. It helps Romanian companies establish credible visibility in Brazil and the wider region, supported by continuing commercial and industrial engagement.
Falcon Latin America — São Paulo
Falcon’s new São Paulo presence gives the group a permanent platform in Brazil from which to develop relationships with defence and security stakeholders across Latin America. The objective is to support long-term commercial and industrial cooperation between European / Romanian suppliers and qualified partners in the region.
Falcon acts as pavilion organiser / coordinator and regional industry partner — not the official LAAD organiser. Government access, contracts and commercial outcomes are not guaranteed.

Managing Partner, Falcon Latin America
Colonel (Ret.) Armando Lemos brings more than three decades of experience across Brazil’s defence and security environment. A graduate of the Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras, he combines military-sector knowledge with extensive experience engaging industry and the regulatory / certification environment for controlled defence and public-security products.
As Managing Partner of Falcon Latin America, he leads Falcon’s regional development from São Paulo, building industry relationships and supporting European and Romanian companies seeking a structured, long-term approach to the Latin American market.
